Melanie Hart: Feedback/References

"As a pastor I get numerous recommendations to schedule someone to minister at Grace. When it was mentioned that Melanie Hart was going to be in the area, my response was, WHO'S MELANIE HART? Directed to the website I was intrigued with the story of the Hart's and impressed with the freshness of Melanie's music. My response, "we need to do this" surprised me. We only had one month to prepare and many internal hoops to jump through. We are so glad we did! Our ladies gathered for a special time with Melanie on Saturday. Melanie ministered with Spirit led sensitivity in the Sunday morning worship, and blessed those gathered on Sunday night with a wonderful concert. If Melanie Hart should come your way, you'll be glad she did."

What grabs me about Melanie is that she’s so real – you feel like she’s singing to you from her heart. Such intimacy resonates deep within the souls of the listeners. Sunday afternoon, sick with a cold, Melanie made the ancient rafters in our beautiful sanctuary shake as God’s glorious spirit descended within our midst and resonated with our spirits. Melanie reminded us to continue reaching out with her to the people of the country of Georgia. When we care for the least of these Jesus’ brothers and sisters, even ones we’ve never seen, we care for Jesus.

The excitement was building weeks ahead of Melanie’s visit to the Pre-Release Prison. These imprisoned men were prepared to enjoy a Christian singer – what they didn’t know was that God was going to be let loose through Melanie’s songs and touch six of the men to such a degree that Jesus would become their savior that night. As Melanie shared her passionate love of God through songs and testimonies, the intense presence of God came among us and freed us all from the barbed wire and fences.

"All day Monday I received phone calls, e-mails and ladies dropping into the office to share their highlights, requesting further prayer, sharing the changes they are committed to making as a result of your ministry. We have our ladies bible study Monday nights and I thought the numbers would be down because of being away for the weekend however we had 33 ladies out all testifying to the awesome weekend. So again the hunger is there for God's Word. This was not your typical retreat where we find ourselves on a great high and soon come down and bear no changes, a much deeper work has been started here."

"Melanie, I wanted to share this story with you. My husband is not a believer but I play your cd alot at home. We had gotten a clock radio with a cd player in it and I had put your disc into it. Well, we wake up to you every morning. The other day I had taken your CD out to play it on the computer while I was working and forgot to put it back.
